After shy hesitation, watching a load of tutorial videos, and considering story options, I decided to butt my head against the Foundry - a user-generated content creator in Star Trek Online.
The damn thing is very counter-intuitive, and not very user friendly, but after dealing with it a bit, not that difficult after all. Some things cannot be done, some things cannot be guessed how to do them, but in the end there are many tools to create and write stories.
My first mission, Romulan-related (never too many of those
), is available on both sides. i.e. available to both Fed- and KDF-allied Romulans and Remans. The Fed version is already out of review stage, and available to wide audience. The KDF one still needs 4 reviews.
I'm already working on my second mission. Actually, the idea for this one is a lot older than the completed mission. I have it practically finished, but I still want to have a decent full test-run before publishing it. Maybe tomorrow or later this week, unless I find more things I'd like to tweak.
I also finally "gave up" and registered a private Twitter account. (I already have an account that I use for my business marketing.) It's going to serve my Trekkie needs. Follow GulJarol
And now, if you play STO, go and play "[Rom] Liberate Donatra"!
